Inloot

An Inloot item is an item that is not lost when the player dies. The item is placed in the player's backpack when resurrected.

Inloot items can be identified via the Item Identification skill as the following message is displayed:

You don't need to identify an inloot item


The following are examples of inloot items:

  • Spellbooks.
  • Runebooks.
  • Any item that contains the character's name as part of the item name.
Example: Training Platemail Leggings (Waktool)


Inloot items will be placed in your backpack in the following scenarios:

  • Worn or held at the time of death.
  • Stored in the character's main backpack.


Inloot items will NOT be placed in your backpack in the following scenario:

  • Stored within a container in the main backpack.
The container itself is not an inloot item so is placed on your corpse including all contents.


Note the following characteristics of inloot items:

  • Will break when their durability is reduced to zero.
  • Cannot be repaired via the Blacksmithing skill.
  • Cannot be stolen via the Stealing skill.
  • Cannot be dropped.
  • Cannot be traded to NPCs or other players.
