Know your Paperdoll

“Help button”. It is useful for many things, among them to send a page and go to the gates room.

“Option button”. It is used to configure the game options like your write color, screen resolution, etc… the most important one it is the tab that allow us to set the macros.

“Log out button”. It will disconnect us from the game.

“Journal button”. Shows the last messages that pop up in the screen.

“Skills”. Allow us to see the list of our skills.

“War/Peace button”. Change the character status from aggressive to peaceful, and vice versa.

“Status”. Show us the strength, intelligence and dexterity of the character, also the mana life and stamina that we have. Also shows the weight we are carrying and the money we have.

Speak to other players

There is no particular trick to talk to other players near you. Only write your comment, press the “enter” key and they will see it. If they recognize that your saying other thing. There are three sings that can change the way your text appear. -If you write two points ( : ) and a space before the text, that text will appear as an emote. The emote text can show as a different color than the regular one, and it is use to indicate expressions, emotions etc. For example “: I am angry”

- If you write a dot and a coma ( ; ) and a space before the text, that text will appear as a whisper, and only the players besides you will read ir For example: “; I don’t like the appearance of this guy”

-Si escribe un signo de admiración ( ! ) y un espacio antes de su texto, ese texto aparece como un grito, y puede ser visto por caracteres situados más allá del borde de la pantalla. Por ejemplo:! ¿Leo, dónde estás?!

Buying and Selling

To buy from a vendor, just say “buy” or “vendor buy”. It will appear 2 lists in your screen. The left list are the items on sale; the right one is your “shopping bag”. To select one item to buy, double left click on it in the left list to transfer to yours. If you want to buy more than one item, use the (+) and (-) to increase or decrease the amount of items (you can also increase by clicking again the object in the left list). When you are ready to buy, click on the “Accept” button. If you have the money that the shopping requires the items will be set on your backbapck and the money discount, if you don’t have the money it will appear a message telling you so. To sell something you must say “vendor sell”. If you don’t have nothing that interest the vendor he will tell you. If you have something of interest the shopping window will appear, but now in the left side you will have the items you can sell and in the right the items you are selling. When you are done you click the “Accept” button. The items will disappear from your backpack and the money will replace them. We must consider than the vendors only have 10000 coins of gold on them, if you want to sell more you will have to come back later.

Skills

The only way to improve a skill it is by succeeding at the time of using it. We will fail very often with the skills we have in lower levels, but if you want to increase them, the only way will by working on that skill. The skills level are from 0 to 100 points, but a 0 skill don’t mean an automatic failure, and a 100 skill don’t mean succeeding automatically. In the skill, the success can be modified by the application of your stats, and can be affected by external conditions beyond your control. At first normally we will increase the basics ones that any character must have in the highest level (Magery , one combat that will increase tactics at the same time and Parryng). In our server, the skill limit, the same as the stats, doesn’t exist. So we can increase any skill we want, to 100%.

Making Money

The most important problem of a new player is his economy. A lot of expenses and few incomes, thats why I put an idea on how you can start getting money. For example, you can get some money by killing skeletons in the Britain cemetery; the problem can be the presence of PK’S around it, so I recommend if you dedicate to that, save your earnings quickly.

Another option is to create arrows and sell them to the archery vendors, to do that you will have to use the skill lumberjacking with a tree (in the skill section explain how) and use the skill to create arrows. Other option is to kill NPCS archers and sell the bow and the arrows. Also you can mine iron and sell it to other characters. When you are most experimented characters you will not do this, but it is a good way to start.

Resurrect

There are several ways to a dead character be able to come back to life.

1.- Double clicking on an ankh.

2.- Writing “home home home”, that will take you to the gates room and the you will find an ankh

3.- That another character use bandages, magic or necromancy on him.

4.- He can live again if he approach the healer vendor.
