History
The Duergar are to Dwarves like Drows are to Elves. They were Dwarves once, but they pledge allegiance to the dark gods, and were exiled from the Dwarves' lands. They were forced to evolve in underground caves in order to escape from the constant attacks of the most numerous Dwarf armies. As a result, they have very good sight in dark places.

If you choose this race, your Hiding, Stealth, Detecting hiding, Mining and Lumberjacking skills will be set to 30.
